I'm going to go ahead and push back the Early Draft for a few more days, a week at the most. In order to "start" the season on Yahoo, all rosters have to be filled by inputted offline draft, which means I basically add a ton of players to each roster then purge them. This means, unfortunately, that waiver rules go into effect as soon as all these players are "released," meaning it'll be a few days until added players actually start appearing on their rosters. For this reason, I'm going to push back the Early Draft for a little bit more, that way waiver rules stop going into effect and all of the rosters appear accurate, which will make picking available players in the draft so much easier.
It sounds tricky, I know, but this is something we deal with every year. The short delay shouldn't affect us whatsoever. We still have plenty of time to go. The extra time will also give those few extra teams a chance to get their keepers in, as there are still 3-4 we were waiting on anyway. On that note, if anyone has good contact info for Phil (Los Diablos), can you please let him know he needs to get his keepers in? He's the only manager I haven't been able to get in touch with.
